How are the nominations for best-selling books chosen?

The New York Times does not pick self-published books. Figures…. To be considered as a New York Times bestseller, things like category and date of release are factors, but you must sell a minimum of 5,000 books in a one week period. To make The Wall Street Journal’s bestseller list, sales need to be at 3,000 books in the first week to be recognized in the book category. For Amazon’s list, books sales must hit at least 3,100 books in the first week. Barnes and Noble’s sales rank is based directly on how many copies have sold.

PRC Book Printing offers book printing services for both conventional publishers and the self-publishing community. We provide excellent pricing for all types of books: novels, children’s books, cookbooks, educational books – the list goes on with our printing and binding services.
